BWG Foods is proud to support the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund (IGBF)

The BWG Foods team are always proud to support the efforts of the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund and the families who avail of its services. The charity assists up to 200 families at any one time and contributes approximately €500,000 annually in support. 

 

The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund is supported by the leading companies in the retail, wholesale, food and drink and services industries.

 

BWG Foods is deeply passionate about our support of the charity’s ongoing work and is very proud that so many of our employees have held esteemed leadership roles within the charity, including that of Chairperson, which is currently held by Frances Higgins, Head of Promotions BWG , as well as numerous President of Appeals coming from the business over the years.  Simon Marriott, Chief Operations Officer, has just been announced as the new President of Appeals.  

Congratulations to Simon on his appointment. 

 

Events like the annual Christmas Luncheon are crucial to ensuring the IGBF have sufficient funds to continue delivering critical services to beneficiaries and BWG Foods was delighted to contribute on the day. The annual event is always a highlight of the Christmas calendar.  This year’s IGBF Christmas Lunch at the Clayton Hotel is the final fundraising event of the year and everyone in BWG Foods is looking forward to supporting IGBF events in 2025.
