EUROSPAR Launches Free Wine Wizard App to help Customers become Connoisseurs

Ireland’s supereasy supermarket group, EUROSPAR, is helping its customers to become wine connoisseurs at the touch of a download, with the launch of its bespoke new Wine Wizard app for iPhone and iPad.

The free to download app is designed to take the hard work out of wine selection by providing helpful information on things like tasting notes and food matching, special offers and latest additions to the range. It allows customers to choose wines according to price, variety, country, taste and to match it to the food they are planning to eat as well as providing all the information you’d expect on the wine; vineyard and region.

Wine Wizard has a function for scanning barcodes and there’s even a journal from the in-house wine expert, Gill O’Meara.

The app launch coincides with EUROSPAR’s summer wine sale where customers get a 25% reduction when they buy any four bottles up until 4th August 2014. Customers can check out YouTube [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL9cFtwZue4] to see all the benefits of downloading the EUROSPAR Wine Wizard.
