EUROSPAR Sales Director, Peter Dwan, recently presented a cheque for €25,000 to St Vincent de Paul, on behalf of Ireland’s nationwide network of EUROSPAR retailers.
St Vincent de Paul (SVP) charity is a voluntary organisation that works with people experiencing hardship and disadvantage and strives for an Ireland without poverty where everyone can meet their basic needs, access opportunities and live with dignity.
EUROSPAR and its retailers have long supported the charity, including facilitating a number of specific time-of-year activations such as their annual Empty Plate Christmas Appeal.
This latest cheque presentation is the result of a contribution to SVP from the sale of selected SPAR Own Range products in EUROSPAR supermarkets.
Peter Dwan, EUROSPAR Sales Director said; “EUROSPAR retailers are very proud of the support we have provided St Vincent de Paul over the years and that these funds will continue to help improve the quality of the lives of those availing of the service SVP provides to those most vulnerable in our society.”
